Love & Lyrics - 2023 - Musical
Told with songs from legendary African band Osibisa and other artists,
Love and Lyrics is a musical love story that stars cast from the UK, Ghana and Nigeria.
Emeka Jacobs is an aspiring musician whose dream is to make it as a
recording artist and settle down with his beautiful fiancé, Jennifer ‘Ada’ Mensah’.
Describing her as ‘his rib’, Emeka’s world revolves around Jennifer. She’s his inspiration,
his pride, his soulmate. He’s therefore devastated
when Jennifer relocates from Nigeria to her native Ghana and stops all
communications with him. With nothing but his guitar and $100 dollars in
his pocket, Emeka decides to embark on a trip to Ghana in search of his ‘missing rib’.
. On his way, he meets Mr Bonsu and his beautiful daughter Serwaa Akoto; a meeting
that later defines his destiny.
Victoria Island - 2024
Victoria Island follows the life ofElizabeth James, an arrogant fashion executive who’s
given a reality check when she reluctantly goes ona working trip to Africa.
Elizabeth likes the finer things in life.She lives a in plush apartment in Mayfair, London
with her rich boy-friend, works for a multi-national clothing company in central
London and parties at the best places in town. Her life is perfect. That is...until her boss
asks her to oversee the launch of a new fashion house in Nigeria at which point her life
isturned upside down.
On arriving in Lagos, Elizabeth is met by her driver, the cheery, laid back Sunday Johnson
who is keen to introduce to her all the goings-on in Lagos. Although she initially takes
anextreme disliking to Sunday, the more time she spends with him, the more she
realises that there might just be more to life than material things afterall.
